Father’s Day

Thankful for Dads

On Father’s Day, honor Dad, Granddad, Uncle, husband or mentor for all he does. Make it a “do whatever he wants day.”

Start his day off right with coffee and donuts, add a little bacon for breakfast perfection! Take him on his favorite activity: a sports thing? Car thing? Sitting on the couch doing nothing thing? A steady supply of junk food while watching Shark week programs thing? Today dads rule!

Maybe a trip to the hardware mega-store to pick out a new favorite tool? Followed by lunch at his favorite restaurant? A letter or handmade card filled with heart-felt words of appreciation? Just spending uninterrupted, one-on-one time with no demands or expectations.

Although many of these suggestions sound pretty clique, you get the idea. You truly know what would be special or meaningful for your guy. Just take the day to let him know how much you love him!

Use Father’s Day to Honor Servicemen Too

Consider taking a box of treats to the local police or fire station. A delightful way to recognize those who serve our communities.
