Honoring Those Who Serve
Use Veteran’s Day to instill a love and respect for those that serve us and their country with their life commitment.
Visit a cemetery, go to a parade, watch a documentary on television. When you are out in public, make it your practice to say, “Thank you for your service,” to anyone you see in uniform or wearing a ball cap or t-shirt showing their military service. Children learn from our example.
We may not always agree with the politics behind military action, but we can support the men and women who put their lives at risk for our freedom.
Thank God for bravery that goes beyond political agendas.
